Benefits of Keio University GIGA Scholarships
- The Scholarship offers up to JPY 1,000,000 per year
- A portion of the scholarship will be used for the payment of admission fees and academic fees for the Fall semester of 2023 required at the time of entering the university.
- The remaining scholarship amount will be paid into the scholarship recipient’s bank account after enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria for Keio University GIGA Scholarships Qualification
To be eligible for the Keio University GIGA Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria;
- Applicants must be accepted through the Winter AO 2022 (Global) screening [Admissions for the GIGA program] to enter the eligible programs at the university and be enrolled in September 2023.
- Applicant must be an incoming first-year student with foreign nationality.
- He/She must have maintained a GPA of 2.3 or its equivalent in the previous two years in high school and be expected to maintain during studies at Keio University.
- Should have English language proficiency required for admission into an undergraduate study program at Keio University, Japan.
- The Awards Notification will be sent out to the applicants selected as scholarship recipients by e-mail in late March 2023.
