If you are applying for a position with the NDLEA and have successfully passed the initial application stage, you may be required to attend an interview or screening session.

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) recruitment interview and physical screening of shortlisted candidates commenced on Monday 5th June 2023. Candidates are expected to go to their respective interview centres along with the required documents or they would be disqualified.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has invited Superintendent Cadre Candidates who passed the recent assessment test and shortlisted Narcotic Agent/Narcotic Assistant Cadre applicants for screening/interview in locations indicated in the respective batches under which their names appear at 8am from Monday 5th  to Friday 16th June 2023,” the statement reads.

According to the management of NDLEA, the physical screening will be held in five different locations across the Nation. Below are the locations addresses:

  • FCT Abuja: at the NDLEA Headquarters, No 6 Port Harcourt Crescent, off
  • Gimbiya Street, Garki Area 11 Abuja, FCT.
  • Kano State: at the Kano State Command of NDLEA, Airport Road, Kano.
  • Lagos State: the NDLEA Liaison Office, 4 Shaw Road, Ikoyi, Lagos
  • Plateau State: at the NDLEA Academy, Katton Rikkos, Jos.
  • Rivers State: NDLEA Command, Artillery Junction, Aba Road, Port Harcourt

Full List of NDLEA Required Documents for Interviews/Screening

Keep in mind that candidates who fail to bring necessary documents would be disqualified and sent home. Here is the full list of NDLEA required documents for interview/screening.

  • All academic certificates
  • Birth or declaration of age
  • NYSC discharge or exemption certificates.
  • Certificate of state of origin.
  • Professional certificates (where necessary).
  • Two recent colour passport photographs without cap/hat.
  • Completed copies of the guarantors’ forms
  • Printed National Identification Card containing NIN.
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN).
  • Certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital (not older than three months).
  • Trade Test Certificate for Narcotic Assistants (if any).
  • Writing materials.
  • A pair of white (unmarked) round neck T shirt and navy blue shorts (without stripes), white canvass and white socks.

Note: Candidates who fail to report to their respective centres with documents and items stated above would be disqualified. Also, all shortlisted candidates will undergo drug integrity test.

Application Confirmation Slip: This is the document that confirms your successful submission of the NDLEA online application form. It contains your application number and other relevant details. Make sure to print out a copy and bring it with you to the interview or screening venue.

Educational Certificates: Bring along your original educational certificates, such as your WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or any other relevant academic qualifications. These certificates verify your educational background and are essential for the verification process.

Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age: Provide an original copy of your birth certificate or a declaration of age document. This is necessary to confirm your age and eligibility for the position you have applied for.

NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Letter: If you are a graduate and have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, bring along your NYSC discharge certificate. Alternatively, if you have been exempted from the program, provide the exemption letter issued by NYSC.

  • Only the center of the candidate’s choosing may be used for the recruiting exam. To find out if you have already been chosen for the screening exercise, follow the guidelines below.
